    Abby Fooks’ first album My Kind of Fun was officially released November 27, 2015.
  Abby, daughter of  Ben and Candice Fooks, wrote three of the songs, Unpredictable, Holding On and Possessed.  She sings three other songs that were written by  Saber Drive and Judith Morissey and instrumentation was provided  by Mike James and Jeff Dawson of Vancouver.   Abby said her favorite song on the album is Unpredictable.
    Earlier this year, she released the single “Breakaway” that has been well received and is also on the album.
    This past April she was the opening act for Jason Hastie and the Alibi at the Badlands Community Facility. She performed for the Stettler Festival of Lights, November 26 and has plans to attend the talent show in Morrin. She gave locals a sneak preview of her new music, last month at Drumheller’s Got Talent.
    Director of Radio Promotions Canada Oscar Furtado will also being working with Abby, getting interviews and her songs out to radio stations across Canada.  
    She would love to be successful in the music business but has a back up plan to become a teacher of music and band at the elementary school level.  
    Abby is 16 years of age and is currently attending school at Drumheller Valley Secondary School.
