The Gaye Ross Memorial Nursing Scholarship Committee presented Courtney Griffith with a $1,000 scholarship in honour of the late Gaye Ross. The committee awards the scholarship yearly to a student enrolled in post secondary education program to become a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse. The scholarship is a way to acknowledge Ross’s passion and to encourage future nurses to display the same virtues she possessed. Gaye Ross was a RN at the Drumheller Hospital for many years.
