Dragons take third loss in four days in Canmore Monday afternoon

The Drumheller Dragons played a Family Day afternoon game on Monday travelling to Canmore to face the Eagles. 
The Eagles took a 3-0 lead early in the game but the Dragons’ Rory Davidson was able to score at 2:38 of the second period to get on the board. The Eagles scored another goal in the second but with two seconds left in the second period Mitchell Cook scored for the Dragons making the score heading into the third 4-2 Canmore. Keaton Holinaty scored the Dragons third goal, but Canmore scored an empty net goal with one second remaining in the game to make the final score 5-3. 
The Dragons are now off until the weekend when they will host the Whitecourt Wolverines on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the Calgary Canucks on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games are at Memorial Arena.
