Three suspects in the robberies and thefts across central Alberta earlier this week have been arrested.

As a result of ongoing police investigations across multiple RCMP jurisdictions in Alberta and Saskatchewan,   police have now arrested and charged  three adult males believed responsible for two armed robberies and a grocery store theft, and truck thefts, all from different communities across central Alberta.
All stolen vehicles have now been recovered by police.
Lucas DENNY , 20 years of age from Red Deer, AB,   and Dylan KURNEY , 21 years of age from Caroline,  AB,  were recently arrested in Kindersley Saskatchewan and are in police custody.
They have been formally charged with numerous offences relating to the Attempt Robberies in Didsbury and Olds,  Theft from Grocery Store in Hanna,   and Possession of Stolen Property (Motor Vehicles stolen from Airdrie and Sundre).   DENNY has also been charged with Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle / Flight from Police in Sundre.
KURNEY and DENNY appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday morning to speak to the charges of Possession of Stolen Property in relation to the Dodge truck stolen from Sundre.
They have been remanded to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court tomorrow for a Show Cause Hearing.    Arrest warrants for the remaining charges have been issued and application is currently being made to have these warrants extended to Saskatchewan,  for continued detention and return to Alberta for court appearance in Didsbury Provincial Court.
On Feb. 11th,  2015 Warrants were issued for the arrest of  Cody CUTTER,  24 years of age,  from Rocky Mountain House.  On Feb 11th,  CUTTER voluntarily turned himself into Sundre RCMP  and is in police custody.   CUTTER was positively identified as the suspect committing the robberies,  through video surveillance,  which led to the warrants being issued.   Police believe that a BB caliber handgun was used by CUTTER  in the commission of these offences.
CUTTER faces numerous charges related to the armed robberies, along with being in possession of the stolen vehicle from Airdrie,  and following the robberies,  committing a Break & Enter and Theft of the GMC Envoy near Sundre.
A Judicial Interim Release (bail) Hearing will be held later today with CUTTER to determine the date for his next court appearance.
Police would like to thank the communities for your assistance in these investigations.
RCMP say the suspects started their crime spree stealing a blue Ford F450 flatdeck from a compound in Airdrie Monday night. The truck was identified as the probable vehicle used for attempted robberies at a gas station later Monday night in Didsbury, and a short time later in Olds.
The truck was left in a field on rural property in Sundre, where RCMP say the robbers stole two other vehicles, once which was in recovered in Rocky Mountain House, then continued on to steal from a grocery store in Hanna.
