Robbery at 7-11

The Drumheller 7-11 at 208 Railway Avenue was robbed by a lone male at 1:37 a.m. Friday, April 25.

Drumheller’s 7-11 was robbed in the early hours this morning.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., a male, with his face covered, entered the store on Railway Avenue, demanding the clerk fill a garbage bag he’d brought with cigarettes and cash.
The suspect then left the store on foot.
The lone 7-11 employee was not injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a  six foot two Caucasian male, weighing approximately 230 pounds, dressed in a dark blue or black hoodie, dark pants, and black boots.
The hoodie had white lettering over the left breast.
The bandana worn by the suspect during the robbery was light grey with black markings.
The 7-11 was also robbed on March 19 of this year by a lone male.
RCMP are investigating and aren’t sure at this point if the two robberies are connected.
