Badlands Community Facility new fundraising support totals $100,000

Two recent donations have the community $100,000 closer to its fundraising goal  for the Badlands Community Facility (BCF).
Exciting new fundraising support comes from Kelly, Heather, Trent, Taylor and Madison Colberg.  They have chosen to name the fitness room HCM Lifestyle (Heart, Core, Movement). This contribution is $75,000.
“On behalf of my family, I would like to say how proud I am of the community we live in and how wonderful this facility is,” said Heather.  “I truly hope those of you who have not experienced what it has to offer will take the time to go check it out.  If you want, I will personally take you through and show you what you are missing.  I hope the community continues to support this much needed project.”
This name HCM Lifestyle evolved since Heather  and Madison received their certification in different areas of fitness, and have been running classes in the studio.
Heather has also started an accessory company, which also uses the HCM Lifestyle trademark (Homes Creating Magic), located in downtown Drumheller. The entire Colberg family are proud and passionate supporters of the betterment of the community.
In addition, previous supporters Ken Stephenson and Yvonne Kendrick, committed another $25,000 to their donation.  They are Calgary business colleagues of known supporters Pat and Elson McDougald.  The Children’s Play Area has signage recognizing Ken Stephenson and Yvonne Kendrick.
“We cannot stress the importance of additional financial support as we drive towards our fundraising goal for the BCF, with a commitment to continuing with the next phase of facility development, which could include an additional hockey rink, new curling rink and/or improvements to the pool,” commented Hansine Kostelecky. "Together we build a community and we owe it to our local and surrounding population to keep improving.”
