A tradition of the Big Country Anti Violence Association (BCAVA) is its Red Rose Campaign where they distribute roses free of charge to of businesses throughout Drumheller to raise awareness of domestic violence. The effort is a collaboration amongst the BCAVA, the Grace House which helps distribute the flowers, RJ Flowers, who offers the roses at a discount and Home-Town Realty which traditionally donates the funds to purchase the roses.

At the presentation are (back; l-r) Larry and Susan Keddie, Norma Jean Minchau, Jeannie Lutz, Phil McCluskey, Kelly Boyko, Marian Ewing, Brandi Reid and Heather Van Dyk, with (front; l-r) Judy Nelson, Cindy Stelmaschuk, Susan Niehaus and Cora Bolt.
