Isobell Sinclair passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Hospital at the age of 91. She leaves to mourn her sister Cecilia Sinclair of Drumheller and two special nephews David and Marilyn Jorgensen, Tom and Anita, Erik and Pierre, Tim and Shelley, Alisha, Christian, and Brae-Lynn, Tina and Ken, Christina and Jordan, Bill and Pat Jorgensen, Brad and Raegan and Camille, Maren, Max and Brittany. Sister Beulah (Bob), Junker and families and the Campbell families. She was predeceased by her sister Jane (Archie Campbell - Harold Carlyle) and nephew Jim Campbell. Also sisters Christina, Bessie and brother David. Isobell took her grades one to twelve in Drumheller before attending U of A to receive her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education. She taught in Mossleigh, Arrowwood, Oyen and Rocky Mountain House before returning to Drumheller to teach in the “old” high school and then on to the “new” Drumheller Composite High School in Drumheller. Isobell then retired in 1981. Her love of teaching was rewarded by helping as many students as possible whether it be through the noon hours, after school or at the kitchen table to achieve those passing grades.
A memorial Service was held for Isobell on Tuesday, March 31 at Knox United Church at 2 p.m.
