HAY, Daryl Allan (Haywire)

Daryl, loving husband of Donna Hay (nee Wise) passed away while snowmobiling at Silver Mines by Golden. He died suddenly due to the result of an avalanche that he himself triggered, going up a path that he had taken many times before on several previous trips.  Daryl leaves to mourn daughters Brandy and Stephanie as well as step children Peter and Tanya VanOtterloo.  He is also survived by two sisters, Joyce (Ken) Hay - Breit of Sylvan Lake and Cheryl (Jim) Pask of Drumheller; and many nieces and nephews; Uncle Lindsay and Aunt Rose Hay of Carbon; Aunt Ione Gusella of Carstairs; cousins, the Gordon Ward family of Acme and the Don Maxwell family of Radisson, Sask.  Daryl was predeceased by his sister, Dianna, parents, Muriel and  Hartley.  Daryl has made many strong friendships over his very eventful life and the family would like to invite all of them to a memorial Roast of Daryl’s life that will be held Friday, April 3, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Acme Hall.  Interment will be held at a later date.
