Norvan James Boon
December 5, 1922 – July 9, 2011
Our world is a much better place because of him. We were embraced with the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and co-workers. Thank you. The incredible care Norvan and his family received from the Drumheller Hospital Staff (doctors, nurses and support personnel) touched us in ways that cannot be measured. We thank you all and appreciate all you did. As Hillview Lodge was Norvan’s home for the last 15 months we were truly blessed to have him live at such an exceptional place. The staff and other residents truly made Hillview home for Norvan. To the staff of Courtney-Winters Funeral Home (Sean, Tara, Mike and Lisa) our deep hearted thanks. With the help from the Delia Community, Todd Reinholt (Celebrant), Jillian Augey (pianist), Brian Frazer (soloist) and the Delia Historical Society (luncheon) we were able to celebrate the life of Norvan Boon and say goodbye. Thanks to Norvan’s grandchildren for their ability to show strength and love towards each other. Grandpa’s love shone brightly on all of you and he will continue to shine in your eyes. Everything we are or ever will be is because of you. LOVE REMAINS.
