Condolences to the family of Garth Martin Cote

January 28, 1954 - January 10, 2023

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Garth in the Drumheller Health Centre, surrounded with family and friends, at the age of 68. He was born in Rimbey, AB with schooling in Falher, AB and Abbottsford, BC. He became a welder by trade, working in Fort McMurray, Slave Lake, Edmonton, Wainwright and lastly Hinton, AB.
He is survived by his mother, Joan, of Drumheller, brothers Larry (Geraldine) of Hinton, Burt of Drumheller, Wendell (Julene) of Red Deer and his sister Joanne of Drumheller.
He is also survived by his six children, and seven grandchildren, Janice Cote, Natasha Thompson (Ben), Tyson, Accayla, Ben, Garrett Cote (Kayla), Olivia and Lucas, and Kyle Cote (Megan) Nora, Shelby Cote (Conrad), Paige and Jordon Cote.
Also left to mourn are his great buddies in Hinton.
Garth was pre-deceased by his father, Leonard in 2003 and his infant sister, Janice in 1958. There will be no service at this time and his remains will be laid to rest with his Dad, in Munson.
Special thanks to the great staff at the Hinton Health Care Centre and especially Dr. Tlhape and his wonderful nurses at the Drumheller Health Centre during his final weeks. You guys really rocked!

Paul (Ampa) Nadasdi, a longtime resident of Drumheller, AB passed away January 7th, 2023 in Drumheller, AB. Born in 1932, Paul would develop a variety of interests including weight lifting, golf, walking, and gardening (grew the best tomatoes!). He always spoke highly of his time working in maintenance at the Sunshine Lodge as well as being a greeter at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. He is survived by his daughter Dawn Nadasdi, son Mitch Nadasdi, granddaughters Corissa Wolsey and Elizabeth Wolsey, great grandchildren Ethan, Jace, Madalynn, Myah, and more.
Predeceased by parents Bill and Barbara Nadasdi, wife Sharen (Ammie) Nadasdi, brother Bill Jr. Nadasdi, daughter Melody Nadasdi, and son Ron Nadasdi. Paul was well known for his gift of gab, shopping, and routines. He was so proud of his family and enjoyed parading them around to his local hot spots and always lit up when the hungarian word quiz commenced.
Enjoy that lottery in the sky Ampa. We will miss you dearly.

We are saddened to announce the passing of our dad, Anthony (Tony) Lefebre in Calgary December 29, 2022, at the age of 98 years and 4 months.
Born & raised in Drumheller, Alberta, he was a long time resident of the Cowichan Valley, living in both Honeymoon Bay and Duncan, B.C.
Tony was predeceased by his wife Lily of 70 years and is survived by his two daughters Beejay (& Kelly) Quinn and Judy (and Les Lidio) Baisi.
