Ethel Marion Lowe passed away peacefully on July 27, 2019 in Drumheller, AB at age 102.
She is predeceased by her husband Elmer, son Barry and daughter Marilyn.
She is survived by her sister Phyllis Wright from Drumheller and brother Jim (Geri) Fowler from Calgary and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Marion was a very special lady and the best Grandma ever.
Marion will be sadly missed.
A funeral will be held at Courtney-Winters Funeral Home in Drumheller at a later date.

On Monday, July 15, 2019, Larry “Rae”burn Smith passed away in his sleep in his 90th year at the Drumheller hospital.
Loving husband of Virginia over 69 years and father of 6 children, Susan (James) Enos of Hanna, Alberta, Roy (Katherine) Smith of Drumheller, Alberta, Luanne (Keven) St. Michael of Espanola, Ontario, Peggy (Ron) Preston of Brooks, Alberta, Edward Smith of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Ruthann (James) Page of Drumheller, Alberta.
Memorial service will be held on September 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. - 207 17th St. N.W., Drumheller at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Helen Delaine Klimek of Drumheller began her Eternal Life with her Heavenly Father on July 22, 2019. She passed away peacefully in Drumheller at the age of 92.
Helen was born August 29, 1926 in Drumheller to Julius and Agnes Leonhardt. She attended Livingston School in Verdant Valley before moving to Drumheller where she worked as a waitress. In 1946 she married Joe Klimek. She held part time jobs at Continuing Care and the Laundry Mat but her main focus in life was raising her four children and being a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and The Lutheran Ladies League. As a member of the L.L.L., she sewed many quilts that were sent to needy children throughout the world.
Besides being an avid reader, she enjoyed studying genealogy and walking her beloved poodles. She was also a dedicated admirer of The Monarch. Helen loved to travel and some of the places she visited were England, Scotland, Ireland, and numerous other European countries and many U.S. States. Her favourite special place was Roberts Creek, BC where she and Joe enjoyed many visits to their cottage on the Sunshine Coast.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Joe in 2012, her parents Julius and Agnes Leonhardt and her five brothers, Clifford, Carl, Clarence, Lawrence and Richard.
Helen is survived by her four children, Carolyn Gingera of Innisfail, AB, Darlene (Doug) Johnson of Lacombe, AB, Dwight (Margo) of Red Deer Lake, AB, and Myles (Stacey) of Calgary, AB, six grandchildren, David and Laura Gingera, Christine (Dallas) Gustafson, Jennifer (Marcel) Mahnkopf, Samantha and Grayson Klimek, four great grandchildren, Brenden and Carter Gustafson and Bianca and Lukas Mahnkopf and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 10:00 A.M., a private family interment will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Calgary at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Stained Glass Fund, 620 2nd Avenue West, Drumheller, AB, T0J 0Y3
We are grateful for the kindness and compassion Dr. Chetty and the staff at Drumheller Continuing Care showed our Mother during her stay there.
