Condolences to the family of Douglas Gordon Randall

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doug at the age of 50 on November 17, 2019 in Drumheller, Alberta.
Doug was born on March 6, 1969, and was a life long resident of Drumheller, growing up and then living on the same street, North River Drive in Midland.
He went to St. Anthony’s school and then graduated from the Drumheller Composite High in 1986. Following Secondary school, Doug attended NAIT for Heavy Duty Mechanics, as well as Lethbridge College for Accounting.
In his youth Doug was involved in hockey and always enjoyed watching hockey as a past time. He had a soft spot for animals and was known for having a cat living with him throughout most of his life. Doug was a familiar face seen strolling around town.
Doug was predeceased by his mother Mary in September of 1997. He will be missed by his father Gordon, sister Barbara (Ken), his nieces Whitney and Saige of Calgary, as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Doug touched so many people, and he will be sadly missed by many friends.
A Memorial Service is being planned for the Spring of 2020 at Choice Memorial Cremation and Funeral Services in Calgary, Alberta. Details will be updated once confirmed.

On November 26, 2019 Janet passed away peacefully at the age of 86.
She is survived by her brother Bruce McNaughton; sister Shirley Ilcisin; four step children: Dennis (Vivian) Williams, Brian (Elizabeth) Williams, Graeme Williams, and Glenna Wagner.
Janet was predeceased by her husband John in 2004.
At Janet’s request, no funeral services will be held at this time.

Dorothy passed away peacefully in Claresholm at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
Dorothy was born December 30, 1946 in Lethbridge, Alberta. She lived in Shawnessy, Alberta until the age of 11, moving to East Coulee, Alberta. She attended school there until it closed then continued high school in Drumheller also taking the cosmetology program where she learned hair dressing. After graduating Dorothy worked at the Drumheller Hospital as a nurse’s aide then at the age of 19 she moved to Red Deer where she worked at the Mitchner Centre. In 1967 she married Dennis and they moved to Coronation and had their first son Scott in 1970. They moved to East Coulee, then onto Carbon where their second son Robert was born in Drumheller in 1974. They also lived a short time in Red Deer before moving to Australia where both her boys continue to live near their dad.
Dorothy struggled with mental illness and moved back to Alberta in 1981. She enjoyed hairdressing, sewing, pottery, making crafts, cooking and playing cards. Dorothy had a great sense of humour, always had a smile and loved to make everyone around her laugh. She was proud of her boys, they were a shining light in her life.
Dorothy fought a long hard battle and will be greatly missed.
Dorothy is survived by sons Scott (Kari), Robert (Alyson). She is Grandmother to Talon (Rihanna) and Ethan. A Great-Grandmother to Talon and Rihanna’s twins, Oliver and Imogen, and their daughter Phoebe. She is also survived by her siblings and their families; Stuart (June), Rachel (Doug), Melissa (Jarret), Arlene, Lisa (Adam), Amber (Jason), Jack (Alicia), Justin, Jeremy, Jerrid, Brenda, Ryan (Annika), Diane, Stacey (Brian), Kevin, Candice (Jeff), Janice (Steven) Andrew, Megan (Josh), Trent (Amy), and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Gladys and James Peebles, one brother Jim, and one nephew Steven.
We would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Claresholm Centre and the Willow Creek Centre for all their constant, gentle, professional care over the years, it will never be forgotten.
A private family Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to Claresholm Centre for Mental Health or Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.
