WILSON, Elaine of Delia, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away at the Drumheller Hospital on July 2, 2011 at the age of 84. Born on June 2, 1927 in the Hanna Hospital to Bill and Effie Reeves she was raised in the Delia/Craigmyle area and attended the Hillview and Delia schools. She trained as a teacher at the Normal School in Calgary and taught at the Carbon and Delia schools. She leaves to mourn her three children; Pat (Don) Nelson of Delia, Bill (Frankie) Wilson and Dave Wilson of Calgary; five grandchildren: Tracy (Darren) Wolf of Morrin, Cory (Deeon) Nelson of Delia, Tim (Jennifer), Marcus and Sara Wilson of Calgary and four great-grandchildren: Caitlin and Nicole Wolfe, Samantha Nelson and Gabriel Wilson. She is survived by her brother Jack Reeves, sisters-in-law Lois Bratt and Louise Pearson and brother-in-law Johnnie Kakuk, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband Bill (1996) and her sister Effie (2011). Funeral services will be held at The Delia United Church on Wednesday, July 6th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Elaine’s honour to The Friends of the Sunshine Lodge (Activity Fund) 696 6th Ave East, Drumheller, Alberta T0J 0Y5 or The Delia Senior’s Centre, Delia, Alberta T0J 0W0.
