The Drumheller Association of Skateboarding Enthusiasts (DASE) is very close to their goal of constructing a world-class concrete skateboard park within the town of Drumheller, and is asking residents for their support.
In order to break ground and begin construction on this much needed world-class concrete skatepark this spring, DASE needs to fund raise another $60,000 in cash plus a number of in-kind donations. If you, your family or your business would like to contribute to this project, please contact DASE Fund raising Directors: Landon Bosch at 403-823-0788 or Landon.Bosch@westernfg.ca and Tyler Eddy at 403-821-1306 or tylerreganeddy@gmail.com.
The Drumheller Skatepark will welcome skateboarding, BMX and free ride biking, scooter riding and rollerblading.
Newline Skateparks of Calgary has designed and will construct Drumheller’s new skatepark.
DASE said Newline is an undisputed industry leader, who have designed and constructed countless skateparks across the country and internationally.     The Drumheller Skatepark is a project worth $550,000. As of today, DASE has worked tirelessly to secure donations of both monetary and in-kind. Supporters of DASE include; Canalta, The Town of Drumheller, The Government of Alberta (CFEP Provincial Funding), Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, Tanas Concrete, ATACO Electric and the Drumheller Cooperating Society.
The new skatepark will be built near Drumheller’s Aquaplex, at the site of the old tennis court.
