Jim’s family share with you his peaceful passing to our Heavenly Father with his loving family by his side. Jim was born in Drumheller, AB. He was the son of the late Walter and Vera (Lane) Burroughs. Jim was a devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and special friend. He was a member of St. Lukes Parish. Jim was an accomplished pilot, experiencing fifty-six years in aviation. Jim will be sadly missed by his wife Sandra (MacDonald) and their children, David (Wendy), Robert, Deborah (Bill), Kirk (Michelle), Shantal (Brian) and Kris (Natasha); grandchildren, Christopher (Christine), Bradley (Rachel), Shayla, Summer, Brynn, Carson, Mason, Kadyn, Chaney, Keira, Lochlan, and Liam; great-granddaughters Evelyn and Emma; sister Shirley and family. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W., Calgary) on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
