HOFF, Norma Eleanor (nee Hill)
October 19, 1926 - May 9, 2011
Norma, wife of Otto Hoff of Three Hills, Alberta passed away on Monday morning May 9, 2011. Besides her husband, Norma is survived by her children; Sandra and Jerome Burke of Drayton Valley, Randy Hoff and Yvonne Gordon of Drayton Valley and Verna Hoff of Carbon. Norma leaves in sorrow her sister Lois Holt of Edmonton, sisters-in-law Eleanor Hill of Airdrie, Melvina Hummel and Ruth Ohlhauser of Calgary; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She very much enjoyed her numerous friends in Carbon, Beiseker and Three Hills. She is predeceased by her son, Wayne, brothers Walter, Alfred and Harold Hill all of Calgary, sisters Mary Diebert of Wetaskiwin and Flora Wolfer of Calgary. Our Mom loved her life, working on our farm, milking cows, raising chickens and her many grandchildren as her ‘own’. She was a wonderful cook and we certainly enjoyed her watching hockey and baseball. We had a lot of fun times. Community and her neighbors were always welcomed. Funeral services were held at the Carbon Baptist Church, Thursday, May 12, 2011. Memorial tributes may be made in Mom’s honor directly to STARS or your choice of charity.
