Mildred E. Rasmussen of Red Deer passed away at the Peter Lougheed hospital in Calgary on June 12, 2009. She leaves to mourn her sons Harvey (Cindy), Gordon (Joyce), grandson Kurtis (Lisa), brothers Glen (Leona), Chester (Grace), and sister Vivian (Wilbur). She is predeceased by her loving husband Holger, her brothers Mearl (Lois), Ronnie, and sister Evelyn (Bob). Funeral services will take place at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Red Deer at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18. Inurnment will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Dalum (near Drumheller) at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. 24p
