The Minor Report

    On Friday last week we saw the launch of the tiering round with the Sports Room Midget Raptors against Hanna, ending in a 7-1 loss for Drumheller. They played the following day against Carstairs with a 13-3 loss.
    The Bertram Drilling Midget Raptors won 8-2 against Brooks while the CNRL Bantam Raptors lost 6-3 against High River. Brooks suffered a loss of 11-2 from the Hi-Way 9 Peewee Raptors.
    In Didsbury on Saturday, the Yavis Atom Raptors won 8-6. In our first shutout of the season, McDonalds Novice Raptors won 6-0 against Bassano.
    On Sunday Minor Hockey Novice Raptors lost 10-2 against Crossfield.
    A close battle between the McDonalds Novice Raptors and Siksika ended in a win for Drumheller of 9-8.
    The Encana Atom Raptors lost 7-1 in Didsbury. The Hi-Way 9 Peewee Raptors saw their first loss of the weekend against Strathmore, 9-2.
    The Greene Construction Peewee Raptors also suffered a loss of 13-2 against Canmore.
     Wrapping up the weekend was this year’s first tie of 4-4 between the CNRL Bantam Raptors and Canmore.
    Drumheller Minor Hockey saw eight losses, five wins and one tie this weekend – a promising start to the season. Upcoming home games are as follows:
