Kaden Hanas has signed a WHL education contract with the Spokane Chiefs, the Dragons announced on Wednesday.

Hanas, the 5’10 right shot power forward from Strathmore, Alberta, has earned a reputation in the AJHL as an agitator and a very difficult player to play against. In 30 games played this season, Kaden has earned 5 goals, 11 assists, and 87 penalty minutes.

“We are excited for the opportunity Kaden has earned with the Chiefs,” said Dragons coach Kevin Hasselberg. “His passion for the game and his ability to stir the emotions on the ice will be missed by our team. Kaden is a professional and a fan favorite in Drumheller and he will undoubtedly do the same for the Chiefs.”
