November 30, 1952 - May 16, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Steward, who passed away at Drumheller Hospital on May 16, 2025.
Don is survived by his soul mate Corinne, his sons Steve (Steph), and their kids; Don’s grandkids Shea, Rory, and Cole, and also son Jayson and Lindsay, and Corinne’s daughter Erin.
Don also leaves sisters Fay Hnetka (Ed, deceased) Shelia and Ken Marquardt, his brother Vern and Donnerene, and sister-in-law Illona (Elmer, deceased).
Friends and other family members are also left to mourn.
Don was predeceased by his parents Jack and Shirley Steward, infant son Wesley Steward, and also his daughter Melissa Steward and brother Les (Louise, also deceased).
Don was born November 30, 1952 in Peace River. Don grew up in Verdant Valley area and as an adult most of his life was spent in Drumheller and area working in the oilfield industry.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 7 2-4 p.m. at the Nacmine Community Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Drumheller Hospital Continuing Care in honour of Don are gratefully appreciated.
