Sidney James
November 1, 1944 - October 9, 2022
Sidney James Anderson of Wayne, Alberta passed away on October 9, 2022 at 77 years of age, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous and dignified battle with illness. Born in Boisevain, MB to Stoyle and Mary (Harrison) Anderson, Sid moved to Alberta where he met Jennifer, his devoted wife of 55 years.
A mechanic by trade, Sid took pride in his work and his ability to help his family and his many friends in Wayne, Dalum, and the surrounding area. While very skilled at his work, the home that he shared with Jennifer was his focus. Hand-crafted renovation projects and upgrades to their yard and garden were always underway.
Survived by his wife, Jennifer, their son Codie (Tina) and their daughter, Renéa, Sid also treasured the time spent with their four grandchildren, Joseph, Sidney, Olivia, and Lucas.
He will be missed by his brother Lynn, and sisters Winona and Laura Lee (Ross), as well as his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements for a private service will be completed and communicated in due time.
