Ryan DeLeeuw, father, husband, son, uncle and brother passed peacefully on July 5th, surrounded by family.
Ryan is survived by his wife Shai, his children Raechel and Ryson, his Mother Tisa (Ralph), father Mike (Micheline), brother Wes (Amy), sisters LeDawn (Edward), Kylee (Robert), Brittney (Justin), Tiffany, Carmen, Simone, and Tate. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless close friends that loved him fiercely. Ryan was predeceased by his daughter Maia, Uncle Rodney, Nan, Grandpa Larry, Grandpa Potvin and all maternal and paternal great grandparents.
Ryan was a devoted father and husband. He loved working on vehicles and making improvements to his yard. He was the family mechanic and was always willing to devote his time to his loved ones. Ryan enjoyed kicking back and having beers by the fire with family and friends. He had a passion for music and had it playing no matter what he was doing. He was an amazing story teller and would jump at the opportunity to bend someone’s ear. He loved to laugh and be with his family. Most of all he loved his wife and kids and would do anything to make sure they were taken care of. Ryan was an amazing person in every sense of the word. He will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him and his memory will live on through every life he touched.
There will be a short service Tuesday, July 13th, at the Drumheller Alliance Church, 670 7th Ave East at 10 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at 301 3rd Street, Nacmine at 2 p.m.
