Dana Ralphine
August 12, 1964 - June 6, 2021
It is with the heaviest of hearts and deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, friend, and partner. Dana Ralphine Gall passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on June 6, 2021 at the age of 56 after a short battle with multiple myeloma cancer.
Dana was born in Big Springs, Texas on August 12, 1964 and grew up in Calgary, Alberta where she attended high school at James Fowler High School and Athabasca University.
Dana started her career in accounting in Calgary but came to know her true happy place was in Drumheller, Alberta where she spent many summers as a child hanging out with her cousins and visiting her grandma and grandpa Rowell.
Dana moved to Drumheller in 2016 and knew instantly it would be her forever home. Daily walks with her beloved rescue dogs into the hoodoos and down by the river brought her so much joy. She loved the small town feel and was so happy to have new friends and neighbours, Linda, Kevin and Jamie.
Dana worked with the Drumheller Mail for the last five years and was very devoted and proud to be a part of the Drumheller community.
Dana is survived by her parents Charles and Muriel (Royce) Gall, sister Tracy, her nieces Megan, Sarah, Pyper and Trinity, many cousins and aunts and uncles, and of course her precious Chihuahua Lily. Dana was predeceased by her youngest sister Harla Dawn Bergmann in September of 2017.
There will never be words to describe how deeply all who loved her will miss her.
