Roland Albert Jensen, son of Herluf and Marie Jensen of Dalum, Alberta was born June 4, 1949 and passed away May 5, 2018. Roland is survived by his sisters, Joyce Teskey, her children, Eileen Peltier and loving family members and friends who gave him unconditional acceptance. Regardless of his disability, Roland led an active and productive life sharing his enthusiastic attitude with many. His journey was enriched and supported by former and present Michener Center Staff – “which were his Red Deer Family”. His is also mourned by “his church family”, St. Leonard’s on the Hill, who made him feel welcome. His sisters wish to express their gratitude to all who contributed to Roland’s Life. A Memorial Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45th St., Red Deer, Alberta, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. The
interment will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Dalum, Alberta, Friday May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A tea to follow each service.
