James Kozak, fondly known as Jimmy or Uncle James. James passed away peacefully at South Health Complex in Calgary on Saturday afternoon surrounded by his family. James leaves to mourn his wife Lea, and children Andrew and Jeanelle Kozak, niece Tracey Dalton (Bob), nephew Trevor Shapka (Tash), brother-in-law Chris Cairns (Sandy). James had the ability to make people smile and always had a corny joke or philosophy for life that twisted and turned. Even though he was unable to speak the past while, he found a way to communicate, leaving you with a grin. He loved to watch movies, spend time with his animals, go for long drives and walk in the hills. The Valley has been his home for most of his life where he worked and raised his family. James was predeceased by his father Andrew Kozak, mother Thelma Kozak, nephew Jerry Kozak and sister Merva Cairns. There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
