Hope built into Health Initiative

The Health Training Initiative has now been named the Hope Health Initiative and is launching a new website.
Following a public forum held on Thursday, April 8, aimed to give an overview of the project, as well as garner community feedback, a new brand has been launched.
A press release explains the concept of “hope”, incorporated in the new name and quotes project leader, Dr. Jon Ohlhauser:
“At the public forum we talked a lot about the value  this project could bring to the community of Drumheller.  All of the values that were mentioned, educational, employment, economic, health care, community and personal development, alluded to a real sense that a successful project of this nature could provide significant elevation in the experience of hope in the lives of people living in this area or any person who chooses to take advantage of what it offers.”
According to the press release, the rebranding serves to facilitate the vision as the project grows and moves forward.
The Hope Health Initiative is looking at developing a model of delivering post-secondary health training and specialized medical services to make a sustainable post-secondary experience in a rural setting.
A new website has been launched, found at www.hopehealth.ca as well as a new contact email, info@hopehealth.ca.
The press release also confirmed that the POET Group, a group of consultants with experience in both medical
services and post secondary education, has now been engaged by the Hope Health Initiative.
