Town Community Assistance grants aid in local initiatives

The Town of Drumheller is pleased to announce the successful allocation of the Community Assistance Grant, aimed at enhancing community programs, projects, and events throughout the Drumheller Valley.
The recent allocation of more than $45,000 in either cash or in-kind services. This initiative is part of the Town’s ongoing commitment to fostering active, safe, and sustainable communities, ultimately improving the quality of life for all residents.
“This year’s funding recipients have been selected for their dedication to promoting health and well-being within our community,” said Mayor Heather Colberg. “We congratulate these organizations that will benefit from the Community Assistance Grant.”
The following organizations received financial assistance through the grant:
Drumheller & District Museum Society (Badlands Historical Centre)
Drumheller Standing Committee on Health
Homestead Museum Society
Big Country Primary Care Network
Mamawi Tapwewin Fellowship
Dancing With the Dinosaurs
Drumheller Kinsman
Nacmine Community Association
Drumheller Minor Baseball Association
The following organizations were awarded in-kind donations:
Rosedale Recreation Society
Midlandvale Community Hall Association
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22
Wayne Community Association
These grants and donations support diverse initiatives that enhance community engagement, provide resources, and encourage healthy living. The Town of Drumheller thanks all participating organizations for their commitment to making our community a better place to live, work, and play.
