New Delia CAO resigns

The Village of Delia has once again been put into a position to find a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) following the resignation of Rudolf Liebenberg.
Delia struggled to find a replacement for the position after former CAO Tracy Breese resigned in June 2021.
“It has been a struggle, as it is for most small villages,” Delia Mayor David Sisley says.
Bill Wulff of Drumheller was appointed as interim acting CAO and acted in the position between June 2021 and February 2022 when Mr. Libenberg took over the role.
Mr. Wulff is the former Finance and Information Systems manager for the Town of Drumheller and a local accountant in Drumheller who has volunteered to help seniors and low-income residents prepare their tax returns.
Mr. Liebenberg’s last day in office was Tuesday, April 19, and Mayor Sisley says Mr. Wulff has once again stepped in to help the village as the search begins once again for a new CAO.
