Percy Poland of the Verdant Valley and Dorcas Women’s Institute presented Amanda Courtenay of The Salvation Army with a donation of groceries and gifts to help fill the Christmas Hampers. The Women’s Institute was established in 1912 and Verdant Valley is the second oldest member of the organization.
