Wayne highway bridge launched

IMG 2601

Last week crews slowly inched the replacement bridge #4 on Highway10x into place. Work began last fall for the two-lane steel truss bridge to replace the original bridge which was built in 1928. While the bridge is in place it is not yet in service, and drivers can expect to encounter alternating flow on the highway until it is complete. The total cost of construction was estimated at $5.1 million.
