Christ the Redeemer forms additional territory in areas surrounding Oyen

Scott Morrison

Christ the Redeemer Catholic School Division has formed new territory in the area surrounding Oyen.
The formed territory will become part of the Oyen ward.
Superintendent for Christ the Redeemer, Dr. Scott Morrison said, “There are no changes for parents and students; they will just get the transportation they need.”
Students in the area previously received transportation provided through the public school divisions. Catholic electors in the area, however, wished to become part of the Oyen ward.
Dr. Morrison noted the vote for the formed territory received an “overwhelming yes.”
The change in territory will now allow funding for transportation of Christ the Redeemer students to be received by the Catholic School District.
