The Town of Drumheller has lowered its flags to half-mast in town in memory of Albertans who died in a plane crash in Iran. The Ukraine International Airline flight took off from Tehran early Wednesday, January 8 and crashed shortly thereafter, killing more than 170 passengers. It has been reported that 63 passengers were from Alberta and 30 from the Edmonton area alone.
