Three Hills RCMP execute search warrant, arrest one

On Thursday, January 3, Three Hills RCMP, along with RCMP Emergency Response Team, and the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, conducted a search warrant on a residence just north of Trochu, Alberta.

Alfred Legacy, 57, of Kneehill County, has been charged with, obstruction, fail to comply with undertaking, occupant of a motor vehicle with a firearm, transporting a firearm carelessly, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of stolen property under $5,000, flight from police and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (X2).

Legacy was released from custody on his own recognizance, and will be appearing in Drumheller Provincial Court on January. 25, 2019

  Police seized a large amount of electronics and oilfield property that was located at the residence and are still attempting to identify the property owners.
