Red Rose Campaign marks Family Violence Prevention Month

IMG 6289

November is Family Violence Prevention Month in Alberta and the Big Country Anti-Violence Association (BCAVA) and volunteers marked the occasion with the annual Red Rose Campaign. On Tuesday afternoon, November 6, they hit the street delivering roses to businesses in the area to raise awareness of domestic violence. Once again, the campaign was supported by sponsors Home-Town Realty, which provided a donation to purchase the flowers. Joe Castonguay and Susan Kolenz of Home-Town Realty present the donation to members of BCAVA and volunteers from Grace House.
