Keeping on track with OH&S changes

Darcy Brown, an Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) specialist was the featured speaker at the Tuesday, October 16 Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn at the Canalta Jurassic Hotel.

The seminar is to outline changes in respect to Bill 30, An Act to Protect the Health and Well-Being of Working Albertans, coming into force on June 1 of this year.

Some of the topics include responsibilities of work site parties, joint work site Health & Safety Committees and representatives, health & safety program, reporting requirements, workers protected from discriminatory action and harassment and violence, to name a few.
