The Town of Drumheller advises that there will be traffic reduction on the Gordon Taylor Bridge on Saturday, March 10.

“On Saturday, March 10, the Gordon Taylor Bridge on Highway 9, will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic beginning at 9:00 a.m.,” stated Armia Mikhaiel, Director of Infrastructure Services for the Town of Drumheller. “The closure will be temporary and will last for approximately eight hours.”

“This closure is to allow testing on the concrete deck by Alberta Transportation,” added Darryl Drohomerski CAO of the Town of Drumheller, “which is a first step to determine what rehabilitation of the bridge will be needed in 2019.”
