Mitchell Brady of Calgary band Static Shift performed their brand of 70s inspired high-energy hard blues/rock at the SpringFest music festival on Saturday afternoon.
Organizer Barb Steeves said attendance was similar to last year and the fundraising dollars are still coming in but she believes the event was profitable for the East Coulee School Museum, which relies on the event revenue for winter operations.
Steeves says many of the acts, including Static Shift, received standing ovations like she'd never seen before.
