Sabres soccer prepare for home tourney

The St. Anthony’s Sabres girls soccer team had their first victory of the season playing in a new competitive league.
The Sabres were in Strathmore on Thursday, September 24, and came home with a two goal shut out.
The two goals for the Sabres came from Maddie Davies. The first goal came at the 67 minute mark in a scramble in the penalty area. The second came at the 87 minute, and coach Gavin Makse said she worked hard for it.

The Drumheller Senior Titans continue to move up through the ranks as they toppled High River last Saturday on the road.
