Drumheller to host provincial Minor Hockey playoffs
“Hockey Alberta looks forward to working with Drumheller during the 2010 Provincials, and knows Drumheller will make this event a “BEST EVER” experience for everyone attending,” said Annie Orton, president of Hockey Alberta.
Each host site submitted a bid to host the Investors Group Hockey Alberta Provincials prior to November 16, 2009. The selections were made by Hockey Alberta and its various councils based on select criteria including volunteer bases, marketing plans and financial goals.
Investors Group has been the title sponsor for five years. Investors Group is an excellent community partner with a longstanding commitment to youth and sport. This partnership assists Hockey Alberta in being able to make 2010 Investors Group Hockey Alberta Provincials an unforgettable experience for not only the athletes, but the parents, coaches, fans and host communities.
Once again RAMP Interactive will provide each host site with a web site to post scores and stats. Be sure to check the Hockey Alberta web site at www.hockeyalberta.ca for all of Drumheller tournament information.

A lot of time and dedication is going into this event by the CNRL Bantam parents, Drumheller Minor Hockey board, Minor Hockey parents and fans.
Drumheller Minor Hockey is looking for anyone in the community who would be willing to volunteer their time and help make this event memorable.
Opening ceremonies are planned for Friday, March 19 at 8:15 p.m.
