Lacrosse teams have early success

lacrosse-1.jpgThe Drumheller Lacrosse teams had another busy weekend with all four teams seeing plenty of action on the floor.
The novice team fought some hard battles with two games on Saturday, May 2 in Red Deer and Didsbury, and one more game in Trochu on Sunday. This talented team of six to eight-year-olds came out of Red Deer with a win and a loss, and suffered another loss against Three Hills. All the games were extremely close on the score board and the team was all smiles, and sweat!
The pee wee team has been enjoying a great season so far and Saturday was no different with Drumheller emerging as the victors after two games in Red Deer.  They have many secret weapons on both the defensive and offensive ends, including a goalie who assisted two goals for his team.  Way to go pee wees.
