Drumheller born athlete turning heads in the hurdles

Lovsin Action

Julia Lovsin, daughter of Doug and Deanna Lovsin was in Brandon, Manitoba for the Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships on August 11-13. She competed in the youth category (ages 16-17) Women’s 400m hurdles. She clocked a strong time of 1:00.73. This won her the gold medal, making her the Legion Canadian Champion.

Doug Lovsin was the former manager of the local Freson Bros. in Drumheller. The family resides in Stony Plain. Julia is a Member of the Edmonton Harriers Track and Field team.
