Terrapins play hard, stand tall

Drumheller’s Pee Wee Terrapins played another hard game on Saturday September 24 in Olds ending with a score of 16-6 for the Huskies.
Head Coach Thomas Laffin said, “We started the game strong with an interception by Ben Messom and followed that with our only touchdown of the game by Haydn Jones.”
According to Laffin the scoreboard definitely did not reflect their gameplay.

Having started so strong, they still came together well in the second half but Olds never gave the Titans a chance to score.
“We moved the ball well in the second half but were not able to get it in the end zone.  In the game of football sometimes it doesn’t go your way but the Terrapins stood tall.” Laffin said,  “With two weeks to heal and work on our game I see the second half of our season going much different.”
The Titans next home game is Saturday, October 8, at 11 a.m. against Stettler.
