Roberta “Bobbi” Lucille

Roberta “Bobbi” Lucille Richter of Brooks, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Frank Richter, passed away on Thursday Feb. 8th, 2018 in Brooks at the age of 86 years. Bobbi was born the first child of Theodore and Mary Clark on October 19th, 1931 in Lewiston, Idaho. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Richter and her daughter Lynn Smith. Bobbi is survived by her daughter Donna Christensen (Harold Becker); sons, Keith (Carmen) Christensen, Charles and Bruce Christensen; grandchildren, Justin, Jadelynn, Jennifer Moyer, Charlene Joy, and Casey; great-grandchildren, Cooper Joy and Nova Moyer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16th at 2:30 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel, Brooks. Rev. John Thiess officiating. Bobbi will be interned in the Hussar Cemetery, at a later date. In memory of Bobbi, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to Brooks and District Health Foundation, Bag 300, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3.

Velma Yvonne Dillman of Drumheller, Alberta passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Velma was born on June 29th, 1936 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Phillip and Gertrude Paullus. She is survived by her brother Clint Paullus, son Richard Paullus (Sheila), of Drumheller, Alberta, her daughter Leann Gardner of Winnipeg, Manitoba, her grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Tyler, Brittany, Kimberly, Stephanie, Chad, and Tenille, her great grandchildren, Kayla, Kenzie, Nevaeh, Cail, Leland and Brooklyn. Velma will be dearly missed by her loving family. Velma was predeceased by her husband Blaze, sons Kirk Gardner and Greg Gardner, brother Gordon Paullus. A Service of Remembrance will be held for Velma on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from the Newcastle Hall. Interment to follow at a later date. Donations may be made in loving memory of Velma to the charity of one’s choice. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the funeral arrangements.

Pearl Muriel Gillrie (nee Hardy) of Drumheller beloved wife of the Late Mr. Kenton Neville Gillrie passed away peacefully at the Drumheller Continuing Care with her family by her side on February 11, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Pearl was born on March 31, 1927 in Drumheller,
Alberta, daughter of the Late Grover & Sylvia Hardy. Pearl enjoyed baking, volunteering at the Pioneer Lodge, gardening and helping her family. She also enjoyed listening to music and playing her organ. Pearl leaves to cherish her memory, 3 daughters; Gail (Frank) Dyck, Marcella (Ken) Reeves, Sylvia (Jules) Brisbois, 3 sons; Frank Magee, Larry (Pam) Magee, Alex (Carol) Magee, numerous grandchildren and one sister Patricia (nee Hardy) Gorse. Pearl will be sadly missed by her loving family and a lifetime of friends. Besides her loving husband Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Grover & Sylvia Hardy, brothers, Charles Hardy, David Hardy, Ray Hardy, sister, Eva Thomas (nee Hardy), 2 daughters, Shirley Avramenko and Faith George, and one grandson Kenny Brisbois. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 12:30- 1:30 P.M. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Knox United Church, 195 3rd Avenue East Drumheller, Alberta, following visitation the services will be at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Heather Carlson officiating, interment to follow in the Drumheller Cemetery. The family invites everyone to share in a time of fellowship and light refreshment at the Knox United Church Hall, In lieu of flowers memorial donations may
be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association on Canada. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the
