TROGEN, Vera
With family at her bedside, beloved grandmother and friend Vera Trogen passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the age of 96. She went to join the love of her life, her late husband Ray Trogen, and her precious son, the late Gary Trogen. She was predeceased by her only sister, Jean Adams. Vera’s memory will be cherished always by her loving daughter-in-law Janet (Bob Moriartey) and her adoring granddaughters Kari (Will), Brittany (Zac) and Emily. She will be dearly missed by lifelong friends in her home of Morrin, especially Mick and Margaret Chambers and family, as well as by her devoted friend, Terry Jesudason of Trail, B.C. Vera is also survived by two nephews Donald and Gordon Adams and families. With her warmth, gentleness, wit and unfailing sense of humor, Vera was a truly special soul who touched many. A celebration of Vera’s life will be held on June 4th 2011 at Morrin United Church at 2:00 o’clock p.m, led by her dear friend Reverend Mac Jones. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morrin United Church – Mission & Service Fund or to the Drumheller Area Health Foundation, for whose care and support the family is deeply grateful.
