James Frederick McGill Graham of Airdrie, AB passed away January 27, 2010 due to complications from a fall. James Graham was born in Carbon, AB August 19, 1931 to Charles George Belgrave Kennedy McGill Graham and Hilda May (Rudd) Graham. James was predeceased by his parents and brother William Graham, sisters Dorothy (Graham) Jerome, Agnes (Graham ) Lammle/Anderson. James served 20 years in the RCAF / CAF and retired at the age of 40. From there he ran the ESSO bulk agency n Carbon. James, a member of the Legion, worked at the Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller until he retired. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Elizabeth Graham of 56 years and mother of their seven children - Charles William Graham and wife Wendy (Weigel), children Ryan (3 great grand children - Hailey, Nathan, Alyssa), Tess and James; Hilda Jean (Graham) Harsch and husband Terry, children Corie, Amberlie, Jileane; James Alfred Graham and wife Margaret (Myers), child Faith; Dawn Elizabeth (Graham) Hancock and husband Gordon, children Micah, Jessica; Robert Bruce Graham and Michelle Lebsack, children Robert-James, Scott, Taliesin; David Frederick Graham and the late Barbara (Cunningham), child Steven; Duane Edward Graham, children Connor, Michelle. Memorial Service will be held at Carbon United Church, Carbon, AB, at 1:00 p.m. February 6, 2010, with a gathering to follow at the Carbon town hall.
