DURBANO, Donna Mary (nee Chapin)
March 15, 1949 - August 6, 2014
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Mary Durbano on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Drumheller Regional Hospital at the age of 65 years. Donna is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 46 years, Albert; her four children, Doug (Marie), Allison, Allan (Jody) and Kathy (Clark); grandchildren, Lisa, Ryan (Kaitlyn), Tessa, Kimberly (Cassidy), Brady (Victoria), Jonathon, Jesse, Jarred, Sophia, Carver and Nick; brothers, Wayne (Liz) and Jordon . Donna was predeceased by her father, William Roy Chapin and mother, Avis Lenore Chapin (Bellamy). With special thanks to Donna’s cousins Pam and Laurie. Her large extended family and friends will remember Donna for her smile and over optimistic attitude and encouragement to all even though she was suffering. Throughout her battle with cancer over a 20 year span she never once complained and was always polite and brave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna’s memory to S.T.A.R.S., Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7. The Celebration of Life will take place at St. Anthony’s Church, 151 – 3 Street W., Drumheller, AB on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the Midland Hall, 131 – 1 Avenue NW, Drumheller, AB from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
