Mrs. Elsie May Dow passed away November 13, 2013 at Hanna Continuing Care, Hanna, Alberta, at the age of 94 years. Elsie was born May 15, 1919 in Hal, Yorksire, England to Edward and Annie Hunter. Elsie is survived by two stepsons, Ronnie Dow of Ottawa, Ontario, Wayne Dow of Gull Lake, Alberta,  daughter, Donna Halliday of Drumheller, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Donovan Dow in 1977. A family graveside will be held in Claresholm at a later date.  If friends so desire memorial donations may be made in memory of Elsie to the Hanna Continuing Care, Hanna, Alberta, or the Sunshine Lodge, Drumheller, Alberta.  Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
