SWAIN, Patricia Mary

Patricia Mary Swain of Drumheller, Alberta, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2011 in the Drumheller Health Centre at the age of 86 years. Patricia was born in Calgary, Alberta on February 15, 1925. She graduated in 1947 as a Registered Nurse from the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to Drumheller in 1948, was married and raised her family. Drumheller was home for Patricia for the remainder of her life. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Dawn Parsons (Dave Roberts), sons, Patrick Swain (Claudeen), Michael Swain (Jennifer) and her grandchildren Garrett, Reid (Amanda), Erin, Leah, Benjamin Parsons and great-granddaughters Paige and Claire. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Charles Swain on October 19, 2005. A Celebration of Life for Patricia Mary Swain will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 2:00 pm at St. Magloire’s Anglican Church (176 - 2nd Street West) Drumheller, Alberta with the Reverend Alan Getty officiating.
