YOPEK, Chester John

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mr. Chester Yopek of Delburne, Alberta passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Chester was born and raised in the Drumheller and Morrin areas. He lived his final years in Delburne with Bev and Doug. Left to cherish warm memories of Chester are his brother Gerald Yopek and Bev and Doug Glover who were Chester’s cousin and long time caregivers. Chester will also be missed by numerous family members and friends. A celebration of Chester’s life was held from the Delburne Community Hall, Delburne, Alberta on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Drumheller, Alberta at a later date.
